One of the things I love about this debut album by a Welwyn Garden City-based singer/songwriter is how piano-driven it is. With the first song "You Found Me" we know we're not in average CCM territory - the album is full of fine melodies, attractive vocal styling and subtle instrumentation that provides several pleasant surprises. Many of the songs are in prayer form, addressed directly to God, like the second track "Here Is Where", which grabs the attention with an opening bass solo. By contrast "Hero To Zero" is a reflection on how Jesus was treated by the people of his time (and maybe by ourselves today?) - "How could it all change in the blink of an eye?" Leedell's voice is light, which is fine, though at times I'd like to hear the vocals more to the fore (as they are on my favourite tracks "Undeniable" and "True Love"). I think listeners will find 'True Love' more suitable for personal reflection than for congregational singing or worship events, but that's fine too. The melodies aren't immediately catchy but I suspect they are strong enough to hold the listener's attention and with repeated listenings this album will grow on you.

Yes a loverly album - there will be more from this prayerful, talented worship leader. I think her style is quite unique.
