In 2014 Cross Rhythms reviewed this London-based singer/songwriter's debut EP and assured everyone that it was a "positive debut". Three years on and after the release of some singles we can now assure CR regulars that the lady has now delivered an impressive full length album. Recorded live over two nights in London and with a 14-piece band of singers and musicians, the set has more than a few touches of R&B gospel particularly in the bvs, while the tight musicianship is an excellent setting for Lucy's expressive voice. On her website Lucy writes that the "family culture that the band has established is as much a part of the fabric of this album as the creative process behind the songs themselves." And truly there are some excellent songs. The upbeat opener "Atmospheres" is a standout while the song "Heartbeats" originally heard as a single in 2015 and the middle Eastern-flavoured closer "Undivided" will all draw worshippers back again and again. I've heard reports that this lady was excellent at the Big Church Day Out and hearing the quality of the songs and performance here I've no doubt that she is drawing people into the presence of God.
