From Birmingham, Alabama to Birmingham, UK, Lynne's music travels very well as she combines a strong worshipful heart with neat pop sensibilities to create a worship album that tickles my musical palate! Vocally Lynne strongly reminds me of Julia Fordham and so this has a bit of a jazzy tinge in places. As for the songs, a couple of co-writes with Gary Sadler work well, especially "For The Lord Is Good" which has a brilliant catchy chorus. The opening bass-driven gentle groove of "Everything Within Me" glides along nicely before the whole thing builds to a hooky chorus that is impossible to escape!! And that's where Lynne's strengths lie. She can create something that is melodically memorable with a well produced pop sound without ever becoming bland and without this sounding like your run of the mill worship album. "God's Gonna Take Good Care Of Me" is built on a funky acoustic guitar lick and the title tune is a mellow, plaintive, prayerful ballad that yet again builds to a beautiful chorus which just picks up your soul. The gentle horns are a great touch too! There's just enough acoustic guitar on "We Will Remember" and "Fallen On Him" to give this a slightly rootsy feel and these gentle songs only allow Lynne's emotion-filled voice to come to the fore. The closing "Fill The Earth With Glory" ends the whole experience with stirring praise as it builds from a quiet opening. All in all, if you want to worship God and you're searching for something which will steer you from the run of the mill conveyor belt stuff, get your money off to the US of A.
