If Eminem, The Sugababes and Linkin Park morphed into one man and started to create worship music, I think that it may fall into the same groove as Canada's Manafest. I say this because the album is funky, fun and a little bit wild in its concept - as well as having a flavour of all the previously mentioned artists' styles. The album's nature certainly doesn't fit into the established worship music mould. Most of the songs featured on the 11 track CD are very catchy and unique in their musical composition. This is a collection of wonderfully structured beats and infectious hooks all contained within a concept album about freedom in its many forms. There is heavy guitar mixed in with some of the tracks - which has achieved something that many a rapcore band have tried in the past, but here it truly works! If you have friends who don't know Jesus, but enjoy urban music, I recommend that you pass this album on to them. The message is subtle and the music credible. The only criticism that I have is that the songs aren't long enough and that there aren't enough of them. However, it's "quality not quantity" I remind myself as the CD finishes. In short: A smart rapping, guitar backing, 11 tracking, one man band who's attacking.
