Marc's life has had many difficulties it seems and he uses his music to reflect on his journey. This, the Wiltshire-based singer/songwriter's third release, seems to show he is in a more settled phase of life as he sings of "Dreams" being fulfilled, becoming "Pioneers" (of the future) and "Waiting" for a friend's return for the pleasure of sharing happy memories with that person. Marc has this time added drums, bass and keyboards to the production alongside his own acoustic guitar. This additional musical accompaniment makes for a much more rounded album than his two previous outings. The stylish lead guitar is rather buried at the back of the mix but fortunately is audible enough to provide a pleasing foil and support to vocals that are strained at times and susceptible to drifting off key, as other reviewers have noted. However, Marc appears to have taken note of previous criticism and these three tracks are a definite step forward musically.
