Reviewed by Tom Lennie After many years of worshipping and recording in Spanish, Marcos Witt recently won the newly designated Latin Grammy award for recording of the year. 'Amazing God' is his first worship venture in English, recently recorded live in Houston, Texas. There's a definite Latino air to one or two tracks, particularly "You Reign", with its salsa feel, and the closing bonus, the only number sung in Spanish. Surprisingly only a couple of the songs here were written by Witt, several others come care of Michael Gungor, who also appears as guest vocalist (as does Cindy Cruse-Ratcliffe on two tracks). His "Our God Is Lord Of All" is, unfortunately, one of the few notable songs on the entire disc (and we get three versions of it!); although "Lord I Seek You" - featuring the Nashville String Machine - does hold a worshipful yearning, and "Thank You" is a fine chorus of adoration. But, despite the professionalism of sound, including warm-bodied group vocals, there's little here to indicate why Marcos Witt has clocked up seven million CD sales!

About 8-9 years ago, I heard a song performed at Northpoint in Atlanta, called "we enthrone you" in english, written by you. I have never found it in print or recording. Can you direct me?
