On first listening the early tracks on this light rock album by a Northern Ireland-based band seem solid but unremarkable contemporary Christian music. But the second half of the collection is much more distinctive, making me rethink my original verdict on the first few songs. One of the outstanding tracks is the last one. "Home" starts with a soft piano intro and the heartfelt vocals grow in intensity. It's actually a kind of reprise of the sentiments of the second last track - "When all is said and done you lead me home". The harmony vocals here are particularly good. "At Just The Right Time" starts with an effective blend of acoustic guitar and electronic effects, with the cross of Christ the centre of the song ("At just the right time/To a world on its knees you came"). The same could be said of "Meet Me", a reflective meditation that draws the listener in with subtle piano and sounds from nature. Best track of all is the soulful and intimate "Waiting" which again is graced with gorgeous harmonies. Well worth investigating.
