Oh dear, oh dear! Martin asks for an unbiased opinion in his covering letter and after four listens I hope this is fair. We are offered an aural mish mash which has only two redeeming factors. The opener, "Be", is a catchy, Proclaimers-like number and there is also some classy sax playing. Apart from this the whole event is a painful experience, with out-of-tune singing and lots of guitar errors. My advice is to recruit a vocalist, write more songs like the opener and work on the lyrics. The lyrics may tell us how he feels about God but it is not artistic. (Do you know what I mean? It's the difference between worship music and the songs of Julie Miller.) The closing instrumental offers some relief but I am in a reviewer's least favourite position. Please don't buy this and Martin, forgive me, but don't sell it.
