The latest album from the hugely gifted Catholic worship singer/songwriter pulls together four previously released EPs and is a collection of passionate praise songs written with other worship artists. For instance, "Soul On Fire" is a co-wrote with Brenton Brown whilst "Come Holy Spirit" was penned with and also features Martin Smith. Elsewhere, Matt Redman and Cody Carnes get songwriting credits on "Here For You" and "Run To The Father" respectively and Maher even retrospectively teams up veteran Southern gospel giants Bill and Gloria Gaither on a successful rewrite of the pair's signature tune "Because He Lives". As ever, Maher gives an impassioned performance vocally and the musicianship here is top notch - three quarters of the tracks have been recorded live and there's no dip in quality when compared to the studio cuts. On the digital release, a Spanish version of "Lord, I Need You" featuring Blanca on co-vocals rounds off yet another satisfying offering from this Dove Award-winning artist.
