Like his previous two albums Matthew adopts the position of a journalist of faith using testimonies and stories given to him to create narrative songs. However, 'Live Forever' is much lighter thematically and with a considerably poppier sound than his last couple of albums. "The List" sounds like something that you might expect to be written by The Script. The middle section of the album focuses on grace with some tracks that are truly beautiful lyrically and with strong melodies. Sadly the flow of the album does seem to lose its way in the latter stages. One of the best songs here is "Anything Is Possible", which tells a heartfelt story where West seems to quote directly from the letters that inspired the song (and those who get the deluxe edition will receive two more intensely personal stories in "Untold" and "Homecoming"). Another standout is "Heaven Is The Hope" which has some powerful lines like "'until he calls us home Heaven is our hope."

Product Description
Coming off of the fastest-selling album of his career, Matthew West is back with the all new album Live Forever.

Featuring the hit, “Day One”, Matthew West continues his mission to tell a story of a different kind with his music - to transform listeners’ stories into life-changing songs. With more than 30,000 stories collected since 2009 from every state in the U.S. and more than 20 countries around the world, he has a very unique connection with his fans. As stories continue to be submitted daily, he has been motivated to pen a third
album based on these inspirations, while approaching this creative process with great care as he senses many people have been made to feel like they are insignificant or unimportant.
