This dear chap passed me a copy of this when I was at Greenbelt which gives you some idea where I am up to in my reviewing chores. Intended mainly as a demo to attract session work the nine tracks here certainly show West Sussex-based Max to be an exceptional guitarist, able to play choppy rhythm lines and head to the sky axe solos as demonstrated on "These Times" while the acoustic work on "Angels" shows a technical dexterity worthy of a Dan Wheeler. As an album it's a bit too diverse for comfortable listening but as a demonstration of an exceptional musician this does the job well. Expect to espy Max's name on album sleeves before too long.
