Michael is a seasoned Christian communicator whose TV show StayFree.tv reaches a lot of people. This album is a platform for Michael's old school crooning and his songs are mainstream standards like "Summertime", "How Can you Mend A Broken Heart" and "When I Fall In Love". Lyrically, of course, they're about finding (and losing) romantic love and when they do get a bit more spiritual like on Frankie Laine's old hit ("I believe for every drop of rain that falls. . .a flower grows") it's all a bit slushy. But for an audience of a certain age these covers of songs sung in Michael's smooth tones will hit the mark. Call it above average karaoke.
