'Trust' is a new instrumental music album reminiscent of Suzanne Ciani or Tangerine Dream (on a good day) with perhaps a hint of later day Robert John Godfrey. The music is not just a rehash of the preset sounds of the latest "must-have" synthesiser, there is far more depth than one might normally encounter in music of this genre. There are three distinct stylistic variations featured on the seven tracks. "The Pilgrim" for example uses slowly evolving pads "iced" with clavier-ish arpeggios whilst "This Present Darkness" is superbly bleak and sparse as such a title would suggest. "My Father's Son" is an example of an electronically orchestrated piece that evokes "big pictures" in the listener's mind. OK, so this is not a toe-tapping CCM album but it is a very credible musical endeavour, worthy of release by a major electronic label.
