Australia's finest grind core team will shock fans with this 1994 set which takes the band away from their usual style and implants them in classic metal territory. And it works! Steve Rowe is in excellent voice, the axes bite deep and songs that call for spiritual courage like "Starlight" ("Murder, lies, deceipt/l will follow none of these/Oppressed and consumed/But still my life is free/Life on earth calls for strength/Respect and courage I must build within") and even a listen to the quiet kind of song "Monks Of The High Lord" (lovers of quiet?! Mortification?!). Fans of their old grindcore anthems need not worry, the band return to their old sound on 1995's 'Primitive Rhythm Machine'. But 'Blood World' is a fascinating divergence.
