Ten years of hard work and the vision behind Broken Heart had finished so Mylon and friends took a year off to seek God, seek new direction and make new music. This album is part of the result. If your expectation from this introduction is thoughtful, reflective songs of seeking, they are here ("Invincible Love"). If you expected soft rock much like 'Broken Heart', that's here too ("Callin Down Fire"). It's interesting to hear this album in the light of John Dixon's letter in CR13. It boasts faultless musicianship, a high production standard and spiritually correct lyrics but not a moment of surprise or excitement. It's all a bit predictable really, a bit like Michael W Smith only less so. Incidentally, Mikey W and most of the other Stateside CCM luminaries are guests making up Mylon's 'Friends'. It's difficult to say what's missing but missing it certainly is. (NB All DJs, the instrumental, "Masterpiece", would make great backing for continuity announcements or for that annoying couple of minutes to get to the news - this perhaps sums the whole thing up!)

I think the album is wonderful from first song to last.
The masterpiece is one of my favorites.
