Our favourite Welsh lady singer/songwriter is back and in top form, and she and Mal Pope have turned in a cracking set of songs for this gem of an album. The opener "Land Of My Fathers" uses part of the music of the Welsh National Anthem, with lyrics in both English and Welsh; and from then on, every song takes some aspect of the Christian life; God's faithfulness ("Message In A Bottle"); our struggles, doubts and fears ("Revive Me"); worry ("Why Should I Worry?"); choices and decisions ("Apple" and "Narrow Little Gate"); and our pilgrim journey ("Home"). One song that Mal and Nia didn't write is the David Foster/Carole Bayer Sager classic "The Prayer", a prayer for safety -"Lead us to the place, guide us by your grace, to a place where we'll be safe". When I reviewed 'Artist's Heart' last year, I said it was the best thing Nia had ever done. Well, I've changed my mind. THIS is the
best thing she's ever done. Go and buy it immediately.

Beautiful album with lovely words, sang wonderfully. I remember seeing her live singing some of these, still get the same feeling listening now. . .
