They say "the best things in life are free" and this album is a full 15 tracks of free downloadable MP3s from www.fromabrokenheart.com (although the last track is a different mix of track three). It is a collection of songs written between 2008 and 2010 by the Sussex-based singer/songwriter, with accompaniments largely confined to soft acoustic guitar, atmospheric keyboards and sympathetic drums. All the songs take the Gospel as their inspiration but the lyric writing lacks originality while the majority of the tracks have a slow to medium tempo so that over a whole album the listener's attention begins to wander. "Return To Him And Live" has a haunting Celtic woodwind melody line while "Take" features a beautiful classical guitar intro with Spanish flamenco influences and builds to some Celtic style rock.
