Perhaps I'm not really the ideal person to review an album of live sanctified dance praise; in my chronologically challenged condition, I certainly can't pretend to be able to keep going for the whole 73 minutes of this mega-value for money CD. Scott Blackwell and his henchpersons have done their thing to some of the best praise and worship anthems of recent years - "Shout To The Lord", "Lord I Lift Your Name On High", "More Love, More Power", even John Wimber's "Praise Song" gets the treatment. Those who have the previous Nitro Praise releases will recognise most of the tracks, completists will want this for the four new items marked "not previously recorded", and sanctified dance buffs will have the time of their lives, although there are chatty bits and other stuff between the music that slows the pace somewhat. That having been said, Nitro Praise is synonymous with great dance music, and this should not disappoint aficionados of the genre.
