In my book Noel Richards is one of the finest, possibly THE finest, worship leaders and composers in Britain. So I leapt on this new album with the kind of enthusiasm I haven't always displayed towards new Hosanna! Music albums. But gradually my enthusiasm wained. This seems a classic case of the wrong man for the job. For me it's nonsensical and suspiciously like a case of corporate expediency, to dream up a Messianic Praise album, assemble a set of top line Jewish-flavoured songs from composers like Marc Chopinsky but then fly out a Brit, who isn't Jewish and has no opportunity to do any of his fine material, to lead the worship. 'Up To Zion' never fails completely, some of the songs are delightful, the playing is impeccable and Noel comes through with warmth and enthusiasm. But if you're looking for a top line Noel Richards album look elsewhere,
