With guest appearances from Tim Hughes, Guvna B and Chevelle Franklyn among others, the London-based gospel worship man and founder of the Kingdom Worship Movement has released his first set for seven years. Despite the diversity of the guests and Noel's website claims about an "eclectic mix of musical genres" this is not quite borne out on much of the album. There are some good moments. "Let The People Say" is the sort of song you can't sit still to with a rhythm that insists on making you dance like David. But some of the riffs are a little cheesy (especially the opening for "Thy Kingdom Come"), although it's more at the cheese on toast end of the scale rather than the heading for the moon side. One good track is "You Are Holy" which features Tim Hughes, with a synth/keyboard backing, incorporating chilled out background harmonies while the lyrics on "One Hope One Faith" and "Unity" both reflect on the unity of the Christian community, despite us being "strangers from different walks of life." But considering the undoubted musical talent assembled here and the importance of a vision to bring a broad sweep of the Church community together in worship, this in truth is a little underwhelming.
