Originally released in 2009, this version of 'Waking Up' is a Deluxe Edition only released in the US. As any follower of radio-friendly pop rock will tell you, Ryan Tedder and co are able to create naggingly memorable hooks and this big seller deserves every one of its 800,000 sales, with the songs "All The Right Moves", "Secrets", "Everybody Loves Me" and "Marching On" being particular standouts. The six additional tracks on disc two include another gem, "It's A Shame", every bit as good as the hits. Fans chomping at the bit for a new OneRepublic set might want to search out this version of the mainstream hit.
