If we got what we deserved, this song would be number one around the world. Cherrie Anderson's voice is ethereal and angelic in its soft innocence and made me really pay attention the moment I heard it. Along with Hal St John and Paul Francis Kelly, these three comprise Ooberfuse, meaning an "abundant blend" of electronic pop. This single track is a release from their second album 'Still Love My Enemies' which received a well deserved 10 square rating from Cross Rhythms. This track has a balance of gentle synth-based verses, initially strings based with a complex percussion layer, which are followed with punchy bass drum lead choruses dreaming of the summer skies. The quality of musical production is insanely good for what are still an independent trio. This is what you expect to hear on mainstream radio as the single rides high in the charts. Not noticeably religious, but take note Cherrie has sung to 1.5 million people at the Catholic World Youth Day; that was just the warm up for this. . .
