In an age of cherry-picking downloads, record companies releasing physical albums have to come up with imaginative ways of making such products competitive. This '8 Greatest Hits' compilation series is a clever concept. There are no so-so album fillers, just the popular tracks. So, if you know the girls' material, then you'll know many of their R&B gospel hits here, such as Bill Withers' "Lovely Day", "Come And Take My Hand", "More Than You Know", and the very funky, rap-laced "Looking For Love". If you don't, and you're into contemporary R&B, then this is an easy way of discovering this competent, exuberant sound of the Kimmey Sisters. They may be gospel, but there's nothing soft about Out Of Eden. They compete vocally and musically with the best R&B girl groups around.
