P J Anderson has been working the Catholic worship circuit around the USA and the rest of the world for a few years now. 'Light+Dark' takes as its theme the battle between good and evil, light and dark. Starting with light, "Sing Forever" is an anthemic worship song that would not be out of place on a Jesus Culture album and stresses the importance of always calling upon and praising the name of God, no matter how dark or how light. "Made For More" then jumps into social justice having been written as a response to the Parkland school shootings. "Wood Of A Cross" is a joyous look at the redemptive work of the cross and the EP closes with "Holy Spirit Come" - a cry for Holy Spirit revival. P J has a great voice and the songs are well written, arranged and produced resulting in an EP that begs for more than one listen and will still leave the listener wanting more.
