Passion, the worship movement based in Atlanta, has teamed up with Worship Together to produce this resource as a companion to the album of the same name recorded last year in Nashville. Passion saw over 10,500 people gathered from all over the USA and beyond for a four day conference with worship led by Matt Redman, Charlie Hall and David Crowder. It states on the front of the book that it is live worship and indeed, when you examine the sheet music, it is set out as it was led, with the improvised lyrics written in too, rather confusingly. Confusing, because if this is a worship resource for leaders, then this format can be quite restrictive. Also included are chord sheets and acetate masters for photocopying. The publishers have thought ahead and have made the book slightly wider than A4 so distortion of words is avoided when reproduced. The chord sheets are clear although unfortunately always exceed a page a song which is inconvenient. Impractical too are the many pages per song that the pianist needs to work through. However, it is easy to read and contains chord charts for each song. As an accompaniment for the CD, it is excellent but as a resource for a congregation, in terms of suitability of songs for your local church and ease of use for the worship band, it is questionable.
