In January 2005 10 and a half thousand students gathered in Nashville, Tennessee for three days of teaching and worship at the Passion '05 event. It springs from an initiative now over 10 years old reaching and discipling students in US universities (more details on 268generation.com) and the songs on here are uplifting and challenging. With worship leaders David Crowder, Chris Tomlin, Charlie Hall and Matt Redman sharing the credits - and a host of first-class musicians behind them - this is a truly powerful set of songs. From the David Crowder opener, "No One Like You" through to Shane Bernard and Shane Everett's stripped-back version of "It Is Well", there isn't a single duff track. The other 11 songs include Laura Story's "Indescribable", Tim Hughes' "Whole World In His Hands" and "Mission's Flame" by Matt Redman. It's all been pulled together by Nathan Nockels, who deserves our thanks for producing a great album of exceptional contemporary worship.
