For various reasons we failed to review this, the live Passion album, when it was released in 2017. So here goes now. . . 'Worthy Of Your Name' returns us again to what the student event does so well - live recordings of mainly new songs arranged, in the main, in stadium rock style. It's a very strong release, particularly considering that Kristian Stanfill took over from Chris Tomlin as the event's main worshipper at the same time that Melodie Malone replaced Christy Nockels. Chris Tomlin is only heard on one song here, and Stanfill sings lead on five songs. Crowder makes a two-song appearance and Matt Redman contributes a track. The best Stanfill-led track is the faster-paced "Glorious Day", while Sean Curran offers the most powerful track of all, a seven-minute-plus rendition of the title track (Curran also contributing a studio version at the end of the album). In retrospect, I wouldn't say there were any modern worship classics on this set, but there's plenty here which is stirring and powerful.
