A suitably jolly collection of 18 songs written by Paul for the Children's Christian Crusade. The tape utilizes the keyboard and vocal talents of the author, the sax expertise of Mike Haughton and an enthusiastic junior choir who really give it a good old go. The current fave at May Mansions is "The Wiggly Waggly Song", a sort of son of "If I Were A Butterfly", you know, the one the song leader used to announce with an eerie grin, knowing what power he had to embarrass us. But you get past caring and it's a good little mover. The songs do a good job of giving a good time and also teaching solid truth. Maybe a touch more inventiveness and punch could have come in handy en route. A well-produced songbook accompanies the tape, and in all this is a very handy resource.
