The songs on this CD are described as "Cries of the people of God for His presence and power. songs of revival and intimacy." Musically, it's mostly in a soft rock/easy listening style with overtones of Jewish tunes and rhythms. The first track sets the tone- "We're a holy generation to declare the praises of our God, and to spoil the enemy." The following four tracks are a medley of up tempo songs proclaiming the power of God to overcome evil, and the authority we have in Jesus' name in our spiritual battle. Quite a lot of use is made of brass on these more up tempo songs and then the mood changes, with quieter songs featuring violins (in a song reminiscent of Jewish dance tunes) and solo wind instruments making a superb contribution. There is one male lead vocal for most of the time, backed up with a strong chorus. (The lead vocal is good, but in a style that won't appeal to everyone, and which to my ears sounded dated.) The aim of the songs is exactly right (worship overflowing to revival) but the language is so biblical and poetic that it would be easy for worshippers to be caught up in a 'worship experience' and not see the implications for lives of sacrifice, as well as words about sacrifice.
