This is a compilation of songs taken from four previous albums, 'The Watchman' (2005), 'Shalom Jerusalem' (1995), 'Jerusalem Arise' (1999) and 'Lion Of Judah' (2001) by the biggest selling artist in Messianic worship. Paul is the worship leader here but by no means the main songwriter. His name rarely appears in the song credits. But the compiler has brought together a set of songs which suit the overall theme of "Jerusalem reunited", including material from such non-messianic composers as Robin Mark, Paul Baloche, Don Potter and Gary Sadler. The opening "O Jah" starts quietly but builds powerfully both musically and with the impressive choir giving a real depth to the sound. "Shouts Of Joy" and "Sing For The Joy In The Lord" segue seamlessly with their up tempo unmistakably Jewish feel, into "Roni Roni Bat Zion" even though the final track is taken from a different album. Wilbur has a deep tuneful voice reminiscent of Richie Havens and the musicianship is of the highest calibre. It's predominantly a joyous musical celebration. This is a set which will work on more than one level with its call on believers everywhere "to exalt God for His faithfulness to His people."

Product Description
Featuring the messianic worship songs of Paul Wilbur, 'Praise Adonai' features joyful songs like 'Praise Adonai', 'O Jah' and 'Days of Elijah'. Classic worship songs like 'Let The Weight of Your Glory Fall' and 'Dance With Me' will remind listeners that our Messiah will one day make Jerusalem the praise of the Earth (Isaiah 62: 6-7).
Paul Wilbur's ministry encourages and actively participates in sensitive outreaches into the Jewish community. Paul’s music and preaching reflects an authentic cultural expression of his biblical roots and reveals his deep burden for the gospel to prosper once again within Israel.
