First off,the correct title to this album is"Back "to" the
Street; the opening song is lp title. Once again, the
album cover painting is by the wonderful artist who has done
many of their lp covers; Randy Rogers, hats off to a great
artist!!This is the first album to introduce John Schlitt as
lead vocalist for the group.
"Fool's Gold" and last song "Thankful Heart" appear to be
the most memorable songs from this album; I have the cd
version. I like "King's Ransom", great and thoughtful
lyrics. "Whole World" has familiar words we all have heard
time and time again; "HE still the got the whole world in
HIS hands...". John delivers these songs with such
rockin', powerful, strong vocals!! The album was produced by
Dino & John Elefante; John also assists with background
vocals for the lp. GOD Bless! -Don
