Subtitled ‘All The Best Songs Of Conquest And Victory’ this trawl through the archives offers cuts from ‘Unseen Power’ (1991), ‘Beyond Belief’ (1990), ‘Petra Praise: The Rock Cries Out’ (1989) and others. Hopelessly stylised heavy rock or classic CCM from a golden age, it depends on your attitude (and age). For my money John Schlitt and compatriots have stood up pretty well though the Petra catalogue has received probably too many reissues for many fans not to have most of these cuts.
