'Instrument Of Praise' is one of my favourite recordings by Phil which I first acquired about four years ago. I think it was the reason my car cassette finally gave up it's fight for life as Phil demonstrates once again his skills. Worth investigating if you are a fan of the trumpeter's flamboyant instrumental touch though if you are looking for his gravel-voiced blue-eyed soul singing you will need to look elsewhere.
