I had seen Phil perform the song "Spend My Life With YOU" on
a late night TBN show: I really liked the song!: great
guitar playing heard, thanks Phil. This album was released
in August 1980; it is quite the essence of the 80's ccm
sound. "Sunday School", Wow!, what a song, who cannot
relate to the words;
we have all said "Give me more time!": these are cut to the
bone lyrics. There are some great bgvs on this album, by
some of ccm's great artists; Jamie Owens-
Collins, Mylon Lefevre, Matthew Ward & Greg Volz:
In fact Greg Volz co-wrote "Pulling Down" with Phil.
"Send out YOUR Light" was a recording from May 1976, no
doubt during the sessions for album "YOUR Love Broke Thru"
produced by Buck Herring. The heart wrenching "Little Ones"
speaks to the hearts of believers concerning abortion; We are
GOD's voice!: This song is also on "Time 1" cd. I am
reminded of the 1984 duet with Randy Stonehill "Who Will
Save the Children". "I Belong To YOU", quite the catchy
phrase for ccm songs; Kathy Trocolli & Keith Lancaster each
had songs with same title;luv the song Phil, thanks.
GOD Bless! -Don
