With so much American Christian pop rock bombarding the bemused British consumer, it would be rather ungracious to lambaste the big British companies for failing to release this one. But as it turns out, ‘Back From Nowhere’ is way above average with two songs, the hooky acoustic driven “I’ll Try” and the gutsy “Nickels For Green Eyed Girls” featuring a superb vocal from Polarboy’s lead singer Pol Buckingham in raspingly bluesy style; sounding great on Cross Rhythms radio. Not that this Mid South team are a two-song band. “Back For More” is a haunting tribute to the Hound Of Heaven while “Do What You Can” is an infectious exhortation to keep running the race. If you’re looking for well-crafted songs, played with plenty of edge, and an exceptionally emotive vocalist, Polarboy are for you.

Oh my gosh!!!
I remember hearing "In my shoes" back in like 1999 or
something, maybe 2000... I have been wondering what ever
happened to PolarBoy... they just kind of fell off the face
of the earth for awhile, no one ever plays them anymore. I
am super happy to find out they are still alive and well. I
looked on iTunes for PolarBoy and didn't find anything...
You might consider putting your songs on there.
