One of the leaders in Welsh choral music this, a choir capable of thunderous power and cascading sweetness. The album opens with "I Was Glad", an arrangement of Psalm 122 that gets proceedings off to a rousing start. Their version of the old traditional spiritual "The Lily Of The Valley" is sheer perfection, a gentle, emotional performance. Other items include Arthur Sullivan's "The Lost Chord", "Where Shall I Be" another spiritual, a great reading of "Finlandia" and William Owen's "Laudamus". The title track is of course the Paul Simon song, nicely presented. The choir's finesse was recognised by its performance of the title music of the Pink Floyd film The Wall a while back. They are still a first class choir, performing to a very high standard.
