Praise Gathering are a Scottish choir directed by Ian Watson whose previous two Kingsway albums have sold well enough to encourage a third, recorded live at Glasgow City hall in June 1991. It's all very predictable, neat, but far from innovative choral arrangements, a rather stodgey rhythm section and a choice of songs which relies too heavily on tried and tested material ("All Heaven Declares", "Lead Me To The Cross", "Great Is Thy Faithfulness"). This is for members and friends of the choir rather than the general consumer.
