If you listened to the compilation of indie releases recently put out by Word Records and checked out a number called "Filling Epiphany", you might be forgiven for suspecting that Prophecy were just another alternative rock band! How wrong you would be because this lot do so much more. Don't misunderstand, they are perfectly able to rock out with the best of them, you just have to check out the breathless pace of "Sick And Tired" or new wavy guitar riffs of "7.30 Daisy" to know that they mean business. But that's not the whole story because there are times here when Prophecy mix that alternative rock to slightly more exotic things and suddenly they surprise you! "Diez Milas De Terrano Duro" is a good example of Latin rock! Or perhaps the humour of "Gone (Jazz Oddessey)" demonstrates the band's breadth - alternative jazz rock anybody? Perhaps not! The moody "Strangled" is haunting and the final title cut is an acoustic coda to what is an electric album.
