Providence are a rock band from Tampa, Florida and this 17 track CD is a mixture of songs and short instrumentals. They certainly manage to match melody with powerful rock and the album sees them in full flight unleashing some powerful music. The band are independent and beginning to make a name for themselves as a band who love to minister. Punchy songs like "Breakthrough" and "Pick Her Up" are built around some energetic guitar playing and emotive lyrics. At times, the instrumentals give the listener a little bit of a break from the guitar onslaught. Standouts include the radio single "The Search" which is one of the catchiest things here and the anthemic "Take You Home" which rocks along very nicely indeed.
