This gem from Californian DJ Randy-G draws on a wide range of genres from R&B and hip-hop to electro. The title reflects the lyrical themes running through the album which, on the whole, offer an introspective look at our lives and whether we make the most of them. "Give me one more chance to live, one more chance to give, one more chance to say I love you today" is the plea in the melodic R&B infused sounds of "One More". "Don't Change Me", a track of inspired beats and melodies reminiscent of John Legend, questions the authenticity of our lives and whether people will accept us as we are. "I Wouldn't Do It" and "Much Better" have their roots in a Kanye West style of inventive and ear-catching hip-hop loops and samples, the latter track proclaiming "You can call me this or that it really don't matter, you can talk back it really don't matter, my life's on track." Two other tracks of note are "Gotta Praise", an edgy, electro, Timberland-esque creation, and "I Won't" in which melodious vocal harmonies are underpinned by a simple, rhythmic arrangement based around an acoustic guitar. Randy's thoughtful lyrics and diverse musical influences blend together into a fresh and current sounding record that will demand your attention.
