This gifted rapper hails from Miami, Florida, and in recent times has become a favourite with Cross Rhythms Radio listeners. This latest download album can only expand his audience. Grabbing the hook off Sade's "No Ordinary Love", the lead track brings the hip-hop worship sound that Rawsrvnt has pioneered so effectively. He honours God, "I love you my Lord in every single way" he raps with the marvelous Lisa McClendon soulfully singing the hook. The project fuses worship songs and some banging tracks to inspire and lift your spirits, like the bouncy "Jesus Jam" - as Rawsrvnt leads us jamming and jumping for Jesus, and "On Fire" with a fun Outkast-style vibe. As well as Ms McClendon guests include rapper Sean Slaughter who varies the vibe as we "bow down to the risen king, bow down to the Lord of Lords". Other remixes include an up-tempo rap up of Tim Hughes' "Here I Am To Worship" featuring Audrey Assad and an awesome mix of "Holiness" off the 'Breathe EP'. Other musical elements bring different flavours, including the funky grooving "It's True", the reggae-infused "The Almighty" and a dirty south banger with "Ring That". True hip-hop worship.
