A five-track offering of mainly full on, no holds barred dynamic hip-hop with strong Southern influences such as Pettidee featuring in most tracks on the CD. So not massively original, though an infectious set of remixes all the same that are sure to get your head bobbing especially when cranked up good and loud to a packed house. Check out www.rawsrvnt.com to hear more of Rawsrvnts' LP 'Rare Form' which is labelled as 'Hip-hop Worship' and is a mellowed down ambient groove that I hope could be influential in bringing something fresh to the worship scene as a whole. The ethereal lead track on the LP is called "Breathe", it features on the EP too and is a gem that really reflects the general direction that Rawsrvnt is going in, in creating a sound that balances R&B, rap and worship perfectly. Awesome and Godcentric.
