Based in the State of Washington, USA, Deardorff has served as a worship leader since the late '80s and is currently based in the Global Faith Center. This is a well produced collection of original worship songs ranging in styles from the Calypso of "John 3:16" through the gospelly title cut to the reggae feel of the rather repetitive "Make My House Your Home". Not original stylistically but Ray has a pleasant voice and a heart that wants to worship God. His speciality seems to be gentle worshipful songs like "Holy Spirit Come" and "You Be Magnified" which work really well. "Strength Of Heaven" is an inspirational ballad reminiscent of something Carman might do. Overall this is a polished independent release and less bland than a lot of the easy listening worship music churned out here in the UK.
