Reviewed by Nigel Harris To coincide with Rebecca's European tour this spring, EMI Christian Music Group has released this eight-track mini album, her first live release. (Okay, so the final track, Geoff Bullock's "The Power Of Your Love", is a studio-recorded bonus track, but it's a cracker!) Rebecca returns to her roots with some high energy, out and out rock with three of her own compositions, "Lamb Of God", "Quiet You With My Love" and the new "I Adore You", plus Matt Redman's "Blessed Be Your Name" and "Let My Words Be Few", "Above All" by Lenny LeBlanc and an unusual acappella version of Tim Hughes' "Here I Am To Worship". I'm not sure exactly where in Texas this was recorded, but the band hit the first note in full on, stadium rock mode and don't let up! No wonder Rebecca had to sing the last live track unaccompanied. Did I say eight tracks? Leave the CD running and you'll find a hidden studio track, another Hillsongs classic, tagged on the end. You can preview this outstanding album online on Rebecca's website, www.rsjames.com, but I suggest you just buy it and enjoy!
