A singer/songwriter now based in Fayetteville, Georgia with a fascinating pedigree. Born in Surrey, she moved to USA and was singed as a songwriter to BMG International by industry top dog Simon Napier Bell. Now, with the help of producer J David Leonard, she has released an independent album and hugely impressive it is too. A read through Rebecca's lyrics and you soon realise that she's the sort of Christian that doesn't settle for compromise. With titles like "Call Yourself A Christian?" and "Get Off!" you know that this album is going to be a challenge to nominalism and indifference. There is a refreshing honesty and truth about Rebecca's songs that acknowledges the lordship of Christ but also allows for our own doubts and crises of faith. She successfully embraces a plethora of styles from the acoustic "Still Searching" to the latin style "Jesus! Jesus!" and the jazz influenced "What If". This is backed up by a versatile vocal style which ranges from Annie Lennox to Gloria Estefan. This helps to give the album an abundance of vitality and passion and leaves you in no doubt that she is a gifted and talented individual.
