If you are looking for a band that pull no punches and leave no room for compromise, Finland's Rebelhead might be just what you are looking for. At first glance this band may appear to be classic hardcore with the "stand for yourself" image and album artwork, but the music is far from it. This band take inspiration from bands such as Pantera and Entombed, and this influence does not go unnoticed. Having taken many aspects from these and other classic heavy metal bands, Rebelhead have created a sound which will have you gripping your seat for the length of the album. Unfortunately the power they demonstrate is not sustained and even by breaking it up with slower songs such as "Blackrebel Station" boredom begins to set in if you are not in the mood. Overall, a worthy album with standout tracks being "Dreams" and "Corrupted Chaos", but too unoriginal to be anything special.
