The Reflex Choir, or Reflex as they're now known, are another of these Scandinavian ensembles who demonstrate that having blond hair and names like Torunn Alfsen or Bjorn Norum doesn't stop you sounding soulful and black. The 12 songs here offer originals most written by the aforementioned Mr Alfsen, some black gospel covers (Shirley Caesar's "I Am Determined" and Richard Smallwood's "He Gave Me Sunshine") and a couple of over exposed pop evergreens ("Put A Little Love In Your Heart" and "The Wind Beneath My Wings"). It has to be said that there's nothing too original in this set though it's easy on the ear and no doubt has a market.
