Steve Thompson, now of course Graham Kendrick's producer, returns to his Walsall roots to produce an exemplary album with one of the UK's outstanding choirs. Taking them away from the call and response traditional sound and into softer, more melodic worship territory, the strength of the songwriting ("Something Wonderful" is particularly outstanding) and the smoothness of the production make this an album with the potential to appeal to a broad spectrum of listeners and deserves bookshop distribution.
