I remember Spring Harvest when I was a boy. In fact I gave my life to Christ at PowerPoint the youth programme which Rich ran with his 'Rubber Band'. The songs resound even now that I am an adult and experienced some not so great things about life. But GOD is my rock. I particularly liked the song 'aband aband abandon ship jump into the lifeboat of the Lord'. What a blessing he was.

Our boys were brought up on his music and now in their twenties can still sing the songs. I still have all his cassettes. One of the lads is planning to use one loved song at a friends wedding - Has he really died?

I have his cassette and have just heard he passed away yesterday, to quote Jeff Lucas: "A good man, with a real heart for God's world, who always had a smile and a word of encouragement."
