Ro-Montee Williams is a Baton Rouge-based diva who in the States opened for Shirley Cesar last year. This self produced album is mainly contemporary gospel, containing a strong personal element to the songwriting with a poem, "Tiarah", about her daughter whom she lost in 2006, and a track exhorting us that we do not need to be part of a group to be somebody, a subject close to her heart. Some reasonable R&B/hip-hop grooves are present on tracks such as "Will U Be The One" with rapping from God's Army. 'Complete' may not be up there with the best urban gospel offerings but Ro-Montee's powerful, declamatory testifying can stand alongside the best of them.
